Monterrey has seen various names linked to them, and the summer transfer window is only truly beginning. The latest name in the rumor mill is Spanish international Ayoze Pérez.

According to Canal 6 Deportes’ Felipe Galindo reported, citing a source, that Pérez would be the target for Rayados if Rodrigo Aguirre manages to leave Monterrey. The Uruguayan striker is currently linked to Toluca, with multiple reports confirming the interest.

Galindo added in his reporting that Aguirre doesn’t want to leave the Northern Mexican club. However, the 28-year-old will exit if Monterrey decides he’s no longer part of their plans.

Ayoze Pérez to Real Betis?

While Pérez is linked to Monterrey, El Chiringuito reported on Thursday that Real Betis has agreed to Héctor Bellerín, Marc Roca and Pérez. With Roca, they continue to work on having a purchase option, but the three players are waiting for departures, and there may be a salary margin.

As a result, there’s conflicting information for this file. Barring the inability to offload players to make room for Pérez and Co., it doesn’t seem that Rayados would be the destination for the 29-year-old.
