Can CF Monterrey star Sergio Canales get better? Well, when talking to the media, the Spaniard noted that he has not yet reached his best level on the field after recovering from an injury that kept him away for several months.

The veteran midfielder pointed out that he is working to reach 100 percent of himself. This Clausura 2024 season, Canales has registered two goals and one assist, so these stat lines could be improving.

Canales was questioned about the issue of the physical problems he had last season. Although the Rayados star said he is completely recovered now, he is still not at his best level.

“Yes, little by little, in the end, I’m coming back from a four-month injury,” Canales said (h/t ABC Deportes). “I know I’m in the stage of gradually returning now. However, I still have a little way to go to be at 100 percent. But yes, I am feeling better and better.”

“We are very excited about what remains of the season. Well, this closeness is always very important… to keep performing and keep pursuing a championship to give them great joy.”
