The 2024 Clausura season isn’t over yet for CF Monterrey, but that isn’t stopping the transfer rumors from surfacing. According to a recent report, Rayados are keen on pursuing one of the standouts in this Liga MX tournament, Club Pachuca’s Oussama Idrissi.
TUDN is the outlet that initially reported that the Dutchman would already be in discussions with Monterrey. After Pachuca’s 3-0 win over Tigres UANL on Saturday, manager Guillermo Almada spoke about the rumor in his press conference.
Almada mentioned that there’s likely to be interest in some of his players and he’s always open to the possibility of them moving on.
“These are situations,” Almada told reporters (h/t ABC Deportes). “If there’s an improvement for them in the sports and economic situation, I won’t shut the door on them. The decision is theirs.
“It’s no surprise that there will be a lot of interest in many of our players, considering the level of skill they possess and the potential they hold for the future.”
